Recipient of both the 2015-16 and 2016-17 Martin County Women Supporting the Arts Grant given by Martin Council for the Arts through the Martin Arts Foundation for her work in “The Healing Power of Music”. Jackie performs in a variety of situations, playing for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, bedside for homebound critical patients   and larger audiences in assisted living facilities. Her specialty is playing in hospice care where family, professional staff and bedside patients can enjoy the tender sound of the cello aimed at palliative care rather than performance.
